Those are two words that I would use to describe our incredible friends! Thank you to everyone who has come to just hang out and who has offered a play date, babysitting and a meal together. These acts of kindness are what makes my end of this journey MUCH easier!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!
On Greg's end of this, we are beyond blessed to have amazing and selfless friends from college that are also passionately in love with Jesus and everything that he was and IS about! Greg is staying with them while we try to sell the house. I met Kelly in college as we were in the same sorority- super cool girl! She had dated Ryan during that time and I was dating Greg through college as well, so we all knew each other. The last time I saw her gorgeous face was at their wedding ALMOST 11 YEARS AGO!!!!! Way too long. She has been much more diligent on keeping a blog updated, so lucky for me, I've been able to keep in touch through the creative writing she shares through her incredible and inspirational blog!
Their daughter has been so generous to give up her bedroom from Greg- how awesome is that? She has such a tremendous heart! Their son is Greg's little buddy! Lego's, games- Greg loves it all! He has been trying to get Greg on their trampoline... I'm sure he'll sweet talk him into it soon enough!
We are all excited to see each other in about 2 1/2 weeks. While we visit for Spring Break they will be on a mission trip and we will see them on the tail end of our trip! They are still raising funds for their trip, so if you'd like to donate to this incredible cause let me know and I will get you connected!
