Well that was a bit of a hiccup...

Woah- it's been too long.  Sorry about that!!!!  Things are getting nutty!!!!  As Ashland says "mom, my brain is dizzy."  I've been trying to get together with so many people and trying to set up dinners, our final MOPS meeting is this week, my final weekend in town is this coming weekend- which is jam packed with things and outings.  JOY!
The girls are trucking right along.  This past weekend we had a birthday party for Kaylen.  Yes, I know it's more than 2 months away.  However, when we mentioned to her that we would be moving her main concern in her 5 year old mind, which is mental power for this little social butterfly, was that she would miss out on celebrating her birthday with her friends at school.  That was her ONLY concern/gripe.  So I threw together a party for her and her girlfriends. It was a cute cupcake themed baking party.  The girls decorated their own apron, chef's hat, cupcake and make a baking wand!  They loved it and Kaylen was so excited!
Oh!  In other Kaylen news- that gnarly tooth came out!!!  WOO HOO!!!!  Don't ask me how, but her tooth could turn all the way around, yet not come out.  We had a yank that bad boy hard.  She's so happy it's out and that she can actually eat much easier!
I love the school that Kaylen attends!  I will miss the sense of community there and the school pride that oozes out of every square inch there.  I couldn't have asked for a better kindergarten teacher.  She has instilled a love for learning and Kaylen has grown by leaps and bounds! Unreal!  She is a smart little girl who picks up concepts quickly and her teacher knew just how to adjust things for her to keep her engaged.  There is more structure in that kindergarten class than in any organization I've been a part of and expectations that are higher than anyone I know holds themselves to on their personal level.  I just can't say enough good things about her.

I'll write more soon on this, but this past weekend we had some students over from the youth group and we had a "jam session".  I love watching them interact with one another and growing together.  Being with them gives me comfort that this generation has been ambitions and is a generation that is going to make a difference.  I'm hoping they'll take up our offer to come down for sprig break and well, pretty much whenever!!!!  Love them all so much!
